• I’ve been using Nero for many years, updating every so often for new features. It does not expire; however, they will eventually stop producing updates.

• No. It is a buy to own software program. I would bet that every year there will be new versions and upgrades available. But you do not have to buy a new subscription or license every year. That is a main reason I bought it.
