As long as you get 'original nespresso capsules' or 'orginal-line nespresso capsules', they should work in this machine. You can purchase some from Best Buy...I'm not sure I can mention a competitor, but I bought a great-tasting variety pack of Peet's capsules from a warehouse store that rhymes with 'boss grow' for around 38 cents per capsule. Most capsules are meant for single-use. You can try to get 2 or more uses from a single capsule, but it'll taste more and more diluted. If you're worried about waste, you can buy SEALPODs. BTW, Peet's has a recycling program that I'm using. They use foil capsules so to them it's like recycling an aluminum can after emptying out the used grounds into a compost pile.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can buy them from the nespresso website. Some other brands make original pods as well and you can find these at grocery stores. But most pods are on the nespresso website. Yes, you only use the pod once then recycle the pods and send the pods back to nespresso. They have their own recycling program, check out their website.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can purchase them directly from Nespresso or Amazon. There are also third party pods compatible (but you cannot send in third party pods to the nespresso recycling facility). When you open the top to load a new pod, the previous will drop into the holding chamber. I believe it holds 6 or 7 before it starts getting jammed and you need to empty.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We usually do single use with the pods but I do like less strong coffee so I usually run water through a single pod twice...we order our pods through Nespresso...but are looking to buy locally!!
