Yes you can just get hot water from the machine. But, if you want a lot of hot water, you'll have to hit the brew button several times to keep pumping out hot water to the quantity you want.

Please try again later.Hi Donna, because this is a space saving model it does not have a dedicated hot water spout attached.That being said if the machine is clean you can run this to get hot water and the use it for tea or what ever you needs are for the hot water. Just run a cup through throw it and then it should be ready to go. Best of luck.
