However, you HAVE to use the correct pods in the correct machine - the pods from one machine to another are not interchangeable. I purchased a stainless steel reusable coffee pod for my machine so that I could use my favorite type of coffee in my own machine at home which was more economical and which permitted me to interchange my favorite coffees.

A:AnswerThere is no hot chocolate pods made for both vertical and original. But with another machine called the Nespresso barista frother! You CAN make a hot chocolate on it. Or any other recipe. And can froth milk too,like other frothers. But this barista frother does more. Hope that help.
