Make sure that the smartphone you'll use to set up the device has the latest version of the Google app and the Google Home app. We recommend following the steps on the Google help article here for detailed instructions to set it up: https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/7029485

Once you have it setup you have to Install the Alexa app afterwards choose the device you have and with the instructions it will lead you to connect to the internet

You use the google home app to set up the nest mini.
