I used mine similar to this way. I just plugged one unit into the available Ethernet port of my modem/router and the other two placed throughout my property. I now have Wi-Fi in all the areas that were problems for me before. In theory I have two Wi-Fi connections. One from the original router/modem and the new one from the google nest.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely it will connect to any cable router and give a strong fast connection
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nest Wifi is compatible with most internet service providers (ISP). You need to connect Nest Wifi directly to a modem from your ISP using the Ethernet cable to set it up and broadcast your Wi-Fi network. If your modem is a modem/router combo, we recommend disabling the Wi-Fi functionality of the combo or putting it in Bridge mode to avoid Double NAT as it may cause connectivity issues. Take a look at this link for the setup requirements and guide on how to setup Nest Wifi: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9548301
