“I'm confused what is the base station for? If it connects with my wifi, why do I need another wifi base station? Is this base station wifi and will in interfere with my wifi router being connected so close to it?”

• The base station will plug directly into your Wi-Fi and communicates with your cameras. It will not interfere with Wi-Fi in any manner.

• The basestation plugs directly into your Wi-Fi router and communicates with your cameras. It does not interfere with my current wi-fi in any manner. It's the brains of the system, communicating the user's mode that is selected to turn on or off the cameras, set up a schedule or simply store any video to the cloud. It just works.
