Hearing that my ISP needs to update my firmware though doesn't sound promising. Would I contact them, or do they automatically do it? I don't quite understand. But for a few years I have been fine. I use the Google Nest Mesh Wi-Fi. Loved it, but lately my kids are getting frustrated.
A:AnswerNo, you would need a router to connect multiple devices. Unless your isp supports you having multiple ip addresses but I would assume not. But this and get a separate router.
