will this replace centurylink dsl modem/router null

This modem is designed to work with Comcast Xfinity and that is what I am using it for. The modem has both data and voice capability and this voice capability will only work with Xfinity which makes it less portable to other providers. The data may work on other networks but I haven't tested it. If you can only use it for data anyway on other networks then I would recommend going with another nighhawk model CM1000-100NAS. This one doesn't have voice and is minimum $30 cheaper than the CM1150v.
