The best plan I’m aware of for this unit is under the AT&T prepaid program and does not need to be tied to any other AT&T programs. My current plan is $55/mo for 100GB of data and supports 5G networks where they exist, otherwise you’ll see 4G LTE speeds. Once you receive the unit, you can activate it online at the AT&T Prepaid site and use it wherever you travel. Of course performance will depend on network coverage, but so far I’ve found better throughput with this unit than using an iPhone 12 as a hotspot in the same location, especially if you invest in some external antennas for the unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a standalone internet access device. It needs a cell connection to work so it needs to be added to your wireless account. We travel a lot camping, etc. We have found that we can almost always get at least enough signal to send a text even when the cell phones/iPhones can't. Usually it gets enough signal to work well. It only needs two bars to work half way decent for email and facebook. If you have 2 or more trying to all watch streaming services at the same time, you will probably need three bars minimum. An external antenna can really make a difference. They can be had for about $30 online. They take a second or two to connect.
