• I ran an Ethernet cable from modem to general area that always had weak signal and placed the router there to use as repeater in that area . What your looking to do might not produce good results.

• My extender pushes signal thru several walls with no issue. I can walk to the edge of my large backyard and still receive Wi-Fi sign.
