Hi RV Guy... I use this range extender for the very same purpose you articulated in you question... I installed this product in my RV at home to pull in my WiFi signal emigrating from my home. Prior to installing this product the signal was very weak, and I was unable to use my Dish Satillite and Netflix Apps. The weak signal caused the apps to hang up or degrade the signal to the point the broadcast continually started and stopped... This extender has a feature where you can combine both frequencies to achieve one very strong signal. I took the time to set it up that way and boy was that ever a good idea. The signal quality is first rate, and everything in the RV operates as it should (I.e. Computers, iPad, and iPhone...)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am not an expert but this device and all other signal extenders/boosters are intended to be placed in an area where the WIFI signal is strong to extend the signal beyond the distance of the router. The extender can only extend the signal with the strength it receives the signal from the router
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The extender may or may not work. It depends on the strength of signal the campground provides. Anytime you get a lot of users from a single source, it generally slows your internet speeds down. The extender would allow you to have easier access but would be dependent on the service provided by the campground.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is exactly what you need
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This extends the signal from your router, sounds like the issue you have is an open network at the campgrounds? Let's say that's the issue you may want to look into signal boosters, similar to boosting a cell signal , the receiver antenna would have pole that would hook to the RV and a Box inside the RV that you would plug in to 110v and act as a access point ,, always remember when hooking to an open network you leave yourself open to anyone that is on that network, look into network security VPN or a good firewall to mitigate any potential cyber attacks . Good luck RVguy
