Based on the size of your home I would recommend the Google Wifi AC1200 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System (3-Pack) - White. This will allow you to buy additional signal extenders to cover your entire home. This comes with 3, so you would typically have one on each level of your home, and if you have a garage or other area, you can always add another extender to get you the wifi connection strong and stable. Each unit covers about 1k feet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need more than one wireless device for 7000sqft. I'd recommend wiring your house with Cat5 ethernet cables and using access points. You may also want to look into a mesh network to get the coverage you want. Check out mesh devices from Best Buy https://www.bestbuy.com/site/searchpage.jsp?st=Mesh&_dyncharset=UTF-8&_dynSessConf=&id=pcat17071&type=page&sc=Global&cp=1&nrp=&sp=&qp=&list=n&af=true&iht=y&usc=All+Categories&ks=960&keys=keys
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.i don't have the square footage that you have but my router is in basement and i get a good signal at the other end of house on first floor, i would say that if you could install in a spot equally distant from all areas it would work ok with the load, but if not, i would go with their mesh system since you might be exceeding the coverage area
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Really depends on how your house is set up and what is between it as well as what other WIFI's are around using same channel's. Mostly if you stick to channels 1, 6, 11, or 14 you will have the best luck or many routers will auto decide for you. Also if you run the 2.4 (longer throw but slower) vs 5g band (shorter but faster). If you can run a network cable from modem to TV room you can plug this router into that cable and have all your tv stuff plugged into a hardline connection from this router. that may also make it closer to the kid's room. or you can also get wifi repeaters that would also improve your signal.
