• Yes, it should work with Windstream Internet as long as you have a modem.

• The router must receive its internet signal via an ethernet cable. The router does not have a coax cable connection. Meaning, the coax cable from the wall goes to a "modem". The modem must have an ethernet 'output" which would go to the Nighthawk "router".
