QuestionAre the satellites wired, wireless, or both?

- Answer I don’t think they can be run as a daisy chain, but each unit has one Ethernet port on it. Except for the router which has the input and the Ethernet port. They connect through their own dynamic wireless connection.

QuestionI have Spectrum Internet service provided through their modem and separate tower router...will this system work with it?

- Answer Yes. This is also a router, so you won't need the Spectrum router. If you are paying rent on it, I recommend that you return it. You will only need the modem. This only has 1 LAN port. If you have more than 1 hardwired ethernet device, you will need an ethernet switch. If you are not paying rent for your router, you may be able to convert it to a switch, but not all devices can be configured like that. Ethernet switches are cheap - you can get them for around $15.

- Answer We have Xfinity cable & WiFi services and our new Mesh system works great with that. It was easy to set up, and we haven't had it go down in the last 6 weeks since it was installed. Much better WiFi signal strength, and faster service throughout our home. Very pleased with the system's performance so far.

QuestionWill this system work with NETGEAR - Nighthawk AC3200 Wi-Fi Router with DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem?

- Answer It should work and you have two options assuming your AC3200 is a combo modem/router. The cleanest approach would be to use AC3200 as a modem turning off the router functions. Then you would feed the ethernet cable from the AC3200 to the new mesh router. The other option would be to use both devices as routers. If you do that you need to be sure to use different wifi channels on the two routers to avoid interference. Hope this helps

QuestionIs this mesh system, nighthawk AX 1800 Wi-Fi 6 dual band compatible with brother mfc-j895 printer? Brother told me I will ned seperate ssids for each satellite?how does it work? Can I print from all devises in all rooms on printer with one ssid?

- Answer I have two printers in different parts of the house and they can both be accessed from anywhere and from any computer,. The satellites should have the same ID does not make any sense for them to have separate ID's

- Answer They get power from an outlet and connect wireless. Super easy to setup and each one has a hard wire port as well.

QuestionI just purchased this system which I’m waiting to receive. I was told by my internet provider technician who recommended this system to me that it’s compatible with my internet and that the primary box hooks into the modem. Where do I connect the 2?

- Answer The other 2 just needs to connect to a power outlet. Set them up wherever you think you'll need them (if multi-level home, one per floor perhaps).

- Answer Yes, it can do this, it is a dual band router meaning it is broadcasting two separate bands of WLAN (wifi) spec sheet says 2.4 and 5.0 GHz. Just name each band something different (wifi 1 and wifi 2 etc)

- Answer Yes, run an ethernet cable from you DSL modem to the router where it is labeled "Internet" and you're good to go.
