QuestionI just had fiber installed downstairs. It replaced a w/l router on the 2nd floor that had my .wired desktop attached to it also. Does this router have to be directly attached to fiber gateway?

- Answer My AT&T fiber set-up has an Ethernet output as well as the built-in wireless thru the modem, so if you are using this as a bridge, then no. If you are using this as the primary router then plug the fiber gateway (ethernet) into this router, connect one of the four ethernet ports into your desktop and connect everything else wireless.
