A:AnswerI had issues with a similar connection and decided to switch to a mesh router configuration and used this connected wireless with its own SSID. For me, this worked for my needs.
A:AnswerI’m not sure, I normally try to keep the same manufacturers the same, it’s easier to communicate with customer service that way. I would pranably contact netgear to see about compatibility.
A:AnswerMost netgear routers and extenders are compatible with each other. I believe that hey are. I was actually looking at the orbi system with satellite at first do to so many dead spots in our home. If you have the netgear genie app or night hawk app I believe it will allow you to connect extra extenders
A:Answermy experience extending our internet connection in my house has not been great. spotty at best as it seems to work sometimes and not others. frustrating. ?But really not sure why. good luck
A:AnswerMost extenders connect to routers only. I believe that you need to move your router to a more central location the branch your extenders outward for it to work properly. Butto answer your question I don’t think it will.
A:AnswerChoose which band you wamt on eacch device. I can have 5 G or 2 G on my computer. Everything cannot use 5 G so it connects at 2 G. Older cell phones only can use 2 G
A:AnswerIf you don't change the name of the extender to the same name as your router then you will have to connect to the extender as named. I think to be more efficient and to not go through so much hassle, change the extender name in setup to the existing name and the issue is solved.
