Arlo does not work with Orbi Mesh Routers. I have a five camera Arlo system that worked with my old Netgear (slow) router. I upgraded to Orbi to get super fast speeds and no drop points in my house. BAM. I could no longer connect my Arlo cameras. The base station was recognized, and the Netgear router recognized the cameras but the Arlo app would not add my cameras so I couldn't use them to monitor my property. I went through all sorts of resets, power on, firmware upgrade, troubleshooting for two hours with Arlo technical support. Big waste of time. They tried to refer me to some community tech support articles and I said -- I read all of those before I called you, and they contain conflicting information. I used to like this product but now that it is a paperweight, I'm frustrated at having spent thousands of dollars. DON'T BUY ARLO if you plan to upgrade your router to a two band device with 5G.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The orbi works fine with my arlo pro system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it will work fine. I bought Orbi AC3000 bc we have 4 smartphones, Xbox, Playstation, Ring doorbell, Firestick and an ARLO 4 camera system. The AC3000 fixed all the lag I (we) were experiencing. The Orbi covers the whole residence, which includes the basement (5,000 SqFt). FYI - It took me me a few attemptes to connect the Arlo system with my older wifi router as well. However, when I changed to the Orbi it switched automatically with no issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the Orbi router system will work with your Arlo base station. You will need to connect them with the included Ethernet cable. Instructions for setup begin on page 8 of the User Manual: http://arlo.com/en-us/support/
