• Yes. When you buy the PLW1000 it comes with 1 PLW1000 and 1 PL1000. Maybe. As long as the adapters are using the same HomePlug specs it should work fine (regardless of brand). The newer models use HomePlug AV. They can exist together with HomePlug 1.0, but as separate networks, as they cannot communicate with each other.
