yes. but make sure the higher model is connected as the main (connection to the router/modem). my network currently has the 1200 as the main and one xboxOne, and two 200's for an IP camera and a xbox360.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes they all work together well. Netgear has a network utility called Network Genie that will monitor your network and give you the status each adapter. The data will only transfer at the slowest adapter speed in the process so upgrading to the 1200's is a good idea if you want speed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My experience with the new 1200(Netgear), 500(TP-Link), and 200(Netgear) is that they are compatible. The important thing is to make them talk to each other by using the same encryption. The encryption used has to be the main adapter hooked up to the switch. Press the encryption button on the main adapter for 2 seconds then release quickly. Do the same to any other powerline adapter you want to pair it with and it has to be done within 2 minutes or so.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From what I have read, they are as long as they use the same format.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I use powerline 200 and 1200 on same network.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately, from my own experience using different speeds, it will not work. Your adapters have to be the same speed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, there are. Nowadays, you are better off to purchase the Powerline 1200 adapters rather than the 500 speed. The difference in price today is less than $5.00 for the pair at Bestbuy. The Powerline 1200 adapters give you the ability to have more than two plugged in to the walls around the house. I have four that are plugged in. One to the router, two of them to Samsung Smart TV's for online streaming and one to a Canon Photo Printer. All work well with no buffer problems. You can have multiple devices with the Powerline 1200 adapters. The earlier models you cannot. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They are all compatible, its just how much bandwidth you would like. the higher the number the higher the bandwidth.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, they will run at the highest possible speed. For example if you have a 500 Mbps and a 1200 Mbps the 500 will connect to the 1200 at 500 Mbps. Then if you add in a 200 Mbps it will connect at 200 Mbps while another 1200 would connect at 1200 Mbps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sure! Each will send Wifi Signal directly back to your router at their designed speeds. If the default SSIDs clash then you may need to go in and manually rename them if you have a bunch running simultaneously. But, there is NO reason to run simultaneously. Get the modern one with good range and run it. Unplug the oldies and drop them off at Goodwill. They are doing nothing for you.
