Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Greetings Nickii, I will for the time being, assume you are running windows and have SOME knowledge of how to interact with it. If I am wrong, please reply. If you're plugged directly into the router, you can first try to go to the following on your web browser (IE: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc.) 10.0.0.1 (This is usually what the router's IP is if it is connected to a DSL connection such as Verizon or Embarq. 192.168.1.1 (This is the DEFAULT netgear router IP address). If neither is working, plug in the computer directly to the router. - - - - - - - - Go to: Start At the bottom, if you see "Run" Click it, otherwise in "Search" type: "cmd" (or when the Run window pops up type "cmd") When the next window comes up, you can type: "ipconfig" This will give you the IP addresses of the computer, and the "Gateway", which is the router's IP address. If you get an address like 169.x.x.x, you are not getting a proper IP address and it could be an issue related to security software, an issue with the computer, or possibly a problem with the router. Any of these issues can quickly be diagnosed in a Best Buy store, given the proper equipment.
