Does this Nintendo DS play all Nintendo games null

Most but I don’t think all. Will make most 3ds games into 2ds but my son wanted to buy the new 3ds Minecraft game and it will not play. That said, that Minecraft game was clearly marked “ONLY playable on the new 3DS”.

The New 2DS XL will play Nintendo 3DS games without 3D capability (as despite naming system, it is part of the Nintendo 3DS family). It will also play old Nintendo DS/Nintendo DSi software.

By the time been, we only use it the kids an the games are great.
