• Generally, you would select the size of cube you would want. Pour water into the water receptacle and turn it on. When the ice is made it will go into a basket. You would empty the ice from the basket into a plastic bag and place it into your freezer or use it. You could empty the ice into a pitcher or something and let the ice melt and reuse the water.

• Yes, it recycles. I don’t leave water in my machine when not using however.
