QuestionIt says its wireless with the pro, is that possible in the vehicle? My boyfriends car port doesn't work. Does it need to be plugged into the output in order to work?

- Answer Hello. The Dash Cam itself is wireless as it goes straight into the Click&Go PRO Mount, meaning it can be removed at any time. The power itself goes straight into the mount. This is either via the supplied 12V car power cable, or can be hardwired into the fuse box using the Nextbase Hardwire Kit. Thanks, Nextbase

QuestionIm from the Caribbean can this camera withstand high heat temperature throughout the year?

- Answer Hello Joe, All of our cameras are tested between -20'C (-4F) to +45'C (113'F), although if the car temperature exceeds this you could potentially experience issues. We'd recommend removing the Dash Cam and placing in the glove compartment when the Dash Cam is not in use to prevent it being unnecessarily heated on the windscreen. When storing the Dash Cam for an extended time period, store within the following temperature range: from 0° to 25°C (from 32° to 77°F). Under the mount is a heat sync, so this is the part of the camera that will get warmest. It's nothing to worry about, they're designed to cope with the heat they produce.

- Answer Hello, The camera comes with a Cigarette Lighter Cable and a USB cable. The Cigarette Lighter Cable is for use in a vehicle, and the USB cable is only for use with a computer (not for use in a vehicle). If your vehicles does not have a cigarette lighter socket, please use a Nextbase Hard Wire Kit instead.

- Answer No, not for this model camera. If you want to view videos you have to take out the SD card and watch on a computer or other device.

- Answer Hello. The 122 record in 720p and can record in day and night conditions. I would recommend a higher spec model such as the 222 or 322GW recording at 1080p HD for clearer night vision. Thanks, Nextbase

QuestionDoes it have loop recording?

- Answer Hello Gina. Yes, all our Dash Cams feature loop recording. This will record each file segment in a 1/2/3 minute video clip and then loop over when the card is full. Any protected files will stay on the card. Thanks, Nextbase

QuestionI have a Nextbase NBDVR122 dash camera with a 32GB SD card. How much recording time should I be able to get with that?

- Answer Hello, The 32GB Micro SD card holds about 2 hours of recorded footage. Regarding the recording lengths, the camera will record continuously in small segments (1,2, or 3 minutes). It will record these segments consecutively until the SD card is full. Then the oldest piece of footage will be deleted and the newest will be saved in it's place. This will continue looping and is called Continuous Overwriting. The Dash Cam does this automatically to allow for more footage to be recorded and the old, unnecessary footage to be deleted without manual intervention. However Protected Files are not overwritten in the same way as normal files. If you do not format regularly, these files can build up and reduce the capacity of storage available for normal footage. It is essential to format every two weeks to delete any protected files and clear the card ready for continued usage.

- Answer Hello, The 122 uses a Micro SD card. The maximum compatible SD card for the 122 is 32GB. We would recommend a Dash Cam compatible 8GB-32GB U1 or U3 Micro SD card, specifically designed for Dash Cam or CCTV usage. We would recommend using a Nextbase SD card with a Nextbase camera.

- Answer Hello. No, the Dash Cam does not come with a microSD card, this is a seperate purchase. The 122 supports a max sized card of 32GB. Nextbase sells both the 16GB and 32GB cards which are compatible with the 122, I would recommend either of these cards. Thanks, Nextbase

- Answer Hello Irma, As soon as power is provided to the camera, e.g. the car turning on, the camera will start up and record. The 122 camera doe not have a mobile app, and so this is not required for this model.
