The Rear Camera can be installed at the back window, and it connects to the Front unit with a 6mt-long cable. QuestionMy camara has been hardwired but keeps saying low battery and charge ,I have even had it replaced. I charged it inside until the blue light went of but after a little while it still says charge without the engines running

- Answer Hi Bart, you will be able to see the rear window video as PIP in your front facing camera. You could use this to see behind you, however, the dash camera will not alert you to objects that might be in the way behind you such as people or other cars. The dash camera is not meant to be a backup camera.

QuestionI see this camera set works with a 2023 Outback. I have a 2024, so assume it would be fine as the vehicle is essentially the same as a 2023, but want to confirm before purchase and installation. thank you.

- Answer Hi! The camera itself will work with the 2024 model; the only difference might be how you power the device. The 320XR comes with a 12V power cable, if the 2024 model does not have a port for the 12V power cord, you would need to power the dash cam with a hardwire kit. - Answer As long as the dash cam has a constant source of power, then yes. The dash cam records in short 3 minute videos. When the SD card is full, I believe the camera will overwrite the oldest videos to record new videos.

- Answer It does not come with a USB port, it only comes with a car charger port, but as long as you have USB-A (or whatever plug you want) to micro usb (what the camera uses) it should work

- Answer Hello Rich, I'm afraid there isn't a way of only activating the camera when reversing- the camera will be designed to come on whenever there is power provided to it. The only option would be to plug the dashcam in when you wish to reverse and unplug it at any other time. - Answer No, this doesn’t allow you to do that. You have to remove the SD card see image on the computer. I believe the other higher end models do this but more $$$. Still a great camera and nice quality
