• Hello, The camera and your phone must be both be powered on and within range of each other to establish a secure connection. The Nextbase Dash Cams are not remotely accessible for customer privacy reasons. This means that we can not access the camera, footage or GPS location. If your camera is stolen, I'd recommend reporting the crime to your local police force and providing them with the Serial Number so that they can blacklist the camera. If the camera is then found, this can be repatriated to you.
