I'm across the pond, so NTSC, not PAL. I have a Lorex 4k system and this Night Owl 1080p system and they both use BNC connectors. I'm able to connect the Night Owl cameras to my Lorex DVR and it will automatically set them to 1080p with no issues. I'm guessing I could add the 4k cams to the Night Owl DVR, but they would probably downgrade to 1080p, so I didn't even bother. If your systems use BNC connectors and a male/female power cable, I'd say yeah, it should work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately, Night Owl is not able to guarantee compatibility with any 3rd party brands. Often, cameras of the same technology will function with our systems, but we make no assurances. We can only ensure that our products will function with compatible Night Owl product. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They have set up in the firmware to only do black and white on cameras that aren't sold by them. This is in violation of the Magnus and Moss warrenty act. Good luck speaking to someone at night owl who cares about this stuff. They don't tell you this anywhere on the box or Amazon product page. If you speak to them even though you have paid for the DVR you aren't considered a customer and they won't help.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From my understanding, it may work - but Night Owl only supports their certified products.
