I recently bought a Swan security camera system I wired it in a new construction house but later on. I found out the wiring. Are backwards? Is there a way to fix this or do I gotta re wire everything.

There are a few options: 1) You could simply leave the excess cable rolled up and concealed in your wall or attic, 2) You can shorten the cable to the desired length by cutting it and attaching a new BNC connector. This is not something we would recommend for the average customer, so it depends on your comfortability with doing so. We do sell BNC connectors on our sales site under Accessories., 3) You could purchase a Video Balun (1 per camera) which converts the BNC connectors to Ethernet ports. Then you could buy the desired length Ethernet cable instead of having to cut the cables. If you don't want to leave the cabling rolled up, this would be the preferred method.
