Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Good Morning. As long as your older cameras range from 400 to 900 TVLs they should be compatible with this DVR. The retro-compatibility of the AHD DVR is one of its chief benefits. As long as your older cameras are functioning and range from 400 to 900 TVLs you should simply be able to connect the BNC cables to the DVR. Keep in mind, you must use cameras of the same resolution on the same channel block otherwise only the higher resolution camera will be detected. For example, if you put a 600 TVL cam on channel 1 you would want to put a 600 TVL cam on Channel 2. Thanks for choosing Night Owl.
