As long as they are BNC coaxial cables and in good working order, they should be fine. We do, however, recommend a minimum of 24 AWG cabling be used with our 1080p cameras. Thanks for choosing Night Owl!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You should be able to, assuming they are BNC cables that are HD(1080p) ready. Which they should be... I used some 3rd party cheap cables as extensions to elongate the cables to reach further, and I didn't have any problems. I wouldn't use ones that are more than 10ish years old though.
