“On the recorded footage, are you able to zoom in and pause to see things like license plates and faces? Also how clear is the picture-I know it's 1080 I'm asking for personal experiences. Looking to put this in at an apartment complex.”

The Recorded Footage is clear as it's HD 1080p but unfortunately the camera does not have the Zoom in feature,The NightOwl Mobile Phone App has lot of features like audio, zoom, Pan and Tilt ,but the cameras with this bundle or not compatible with all these features, You can recognize a face but Not a license plate unless its very near to the camera.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Good Afternoon. You are able to digitally zoom in from the DVR, but the image does become pixelated the more you do so. Whether or not you can see license plates or faces depends mostly on the camera mounting location, how far the object being detected is from the camera and the lighting. Once it is all wired up and running it works great on a monitor and TV but The HD app DOES NOT work on a Galaxy S7 though. My husband has a Note and it runs perfect but on my phone it is delayed and you never see any movement at all.
