• A:Answer I have several Nikon cameras that I use. I purchased the P1000 because of the long lens. The camera is a bit heavy and you need to be aware of just. How heavy it is. If you are a serious photographer, you will enjoy this beauty....it is very user friendly. Only real problem I have is that it is hard to use in action situations due to the slow response at time when focusing. I recommend this camera to any one.
