Will the P900 take black and white photos? null

Yes. The Nikon COOLPIX P900 digital camera has two options for taking pictures in black and white, or monochrome. One option is to take an image while the camera is placed in Special Effects Mode. This feature allows you two options to create a black and white photograph ; High-contrast monochrome and High ISO monochrome. Another option for black and white is to place the camera in P, S, A or M Mode before accessing the Monochrome feature in Picture Control. You can do Black and White but I think you have to change all the photos one by one when you review the color version.
