Questionit says you can add GPS info. In reading the comments, it's been asked if it can be turned off, so it seems that the default is on. I hope this means that the altitude, latitude, and longitude are recorded. Is that correct?

- Answer The Nikon COOLPIX P900 digital camera has WiFi and can connect wirelessly with a compatible smart device that's running the Wireless Mobile Utility (WMU) application. Once connected you can choose to take photos using the camera or remotely with the smart device. Images downloaded through the app can then be shared in various ways by using the sharing tools available on your smart device.

- Answer No. The Nikon COOLPIX P900 digital camera does not have an internal memory bank, so a card will be necessary for saving your images and videos. Approved memory card brands for use with this camera are Toshiba, SanDisk, Panasonic and Lexar Media. Supported memory card types are SD, SDHC, SDXC. It is recommended that an approved card with a Speed Class 6 or better is used when recording movies.

- Answer The Nikon COOLPIX P900 digital camera has a variety of options for getting color-enhanced images. One option is to use a Special Effect such as Selective Color or High Key. Another is to select Vivid in Picture Control and tweak the colors until they are exactly the way you wish them to be. This amazing camera also comes with a variety of options for adding a filter to your images so they can be enhanced even after they are taken.

- Answer While there is no compatible cable for shutter release the Nikon COOLPIX P900 digital camera is able to use the Nikon Remote Control ML-L3 for remote shooting at a range of approximately 16 feet in front of the camera. This is a useful accessory for triggering the shutter remotely when using slower shutter speeds, to prevent camera movement. The ML-L3 remote accessory offers an immediate release mode and a two second delay mode.

- Answer Yes, it does lag. Not aware of any cameras that don't, other than maybe Pro Cameras, at Pro Camera prices :( I guess you get what you pay for ;)

QuestionWhen shooting in continuous mode the screen blacks out and you cannot follow your subject in my Coolpix P600. Is that the case in the Coolpix P900?

- Answer When placing the Nikon COOLPIX P900 digital camera in both Continuous and Subject tracking the screen does not go black when pressing the shutter button down fully as the Nikon COOLPIX P600 does. Instead boxes of light green will circulate in the center of the screen to let you know that your images are being uploaded to the card. This can give you up to 7 images continuously at a rate of about 7 fps when using the Continuous H setting. Just as with the COOLPIX P600, the COOLPIX P900 will not be able to take any more images until the camera is finished processing the image upload. If you need any assistance getting the most use out of your Nikon camera please contact Nikon Support.
