Every camera should be compatible with a mac and it should never cancel out your older photos. I use a Mac as well and this camera did not cancel my older pictures and worked just like other cameras.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use both Nikon and Canon cameras. Once loaded on the computer, they are in JPG format or NEF regardless of camera. They will have no effect on any previously loaded pictures.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, camera is compatible with Macs. I, myself have Canon cameras too, & have 1000's of photos on my computer from both camera makers. No, your older photos will not be removed as you upload photos from the Nikon. You could create a "Nikon" folder to upload photos to, also.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I have a Mac too and they sync with out any issues. Not sure about you Canon , but I have a Olympus E510 and I have not had any issues with canceling out of older photos.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Images taken with the COOLPIX S7000 can be transferred to Macs using Nikon's free View NX-i software or with the third party software of your choice. Transferring Nikon files onto a computer with other image files should not have an impact on your other files as long as the image file names are different.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure about being Mac capatible. I am strickly a PC user. Your digital photos should not affect previous photos on your computer. It will simply save them in a different file from the Canon's.
