The Nikon D3300 DSLR camera has a variety of filters for black and white options. One option you could use is found in either P, S, A, or M mode in the Menu under "Set Picture Control". In "Set Picture Control" Monochrome can be adjusted and saved before taking the image. Another option would be in the Retouch Menu where you can create a copy of any already un-edited image in Black-and-white, Sepia, or Cyanotype. To learn more about the options for monochrome and other various filter options please check with Nikon Support.
