The maximum length for individual movie files on the Nikon D3300 DSLR camera is 4 GB, or 20 minutes. Depending on memory card write speed, shooting may end before this length is reached. It may also end before limits are reached if the camera temperature rises. Cards with a class 6 or faster write speed are recommended for movie recording. You can choose different frame size and rates which will affect the movie quality and length limitations.
