The Nikon D3300 DSLR camera can use either the Nikon ME-W1 Wireless Microphone or the Nikon Stereo Microphone ME-1. The ME-W1 Wireless Microphone reaches up to 164 feet away and is powered by a AAA Alkaline or AAA Ni-MH rechargeable battery for approximately 3 hours of continuous use. The ME-1 Stereo Microphone has a low-cut filter which reduces wind noise and other low-frequency noise not blocked by the wind screen and stays connected to the camera with a 3.5 mm (diameter) stereo mini-pin jack when recording. Both the ME-W1 and the ME-1 are designed for ease of use and each provide crystal-clear, recorded audio.
