- Answer Use an SD card reader that plugs into the lighting port or charging port depending on the phone and then use an app to get the pictures from that to the phone. You just plug the card into the reader and it'll transfer to your phone.

QuestionI see that there are no megapixels advertised. I’d like the option to blow up a picture without distorting it, if I’d like. I see the recommendation to add a AF-S DX lense for portrait shot, but what megapixels can I compare the D3400 DSLR too?

- Answer If your just going to make prints that’s great but if your looking to make enlargements that’s where the more megapixels you have comes in handy. You won’t get a distorted picture it’s a great camera but if you want crisp Clean and sharp don’t make huge enlargements

- Answer Buy the Nikon there the best made Cameras I have found. and I have been taking photos for over 40 years. Not to put down Canon but they just don't compare to any Nikon Camera

QuestionI just bought this camera. It has Bluetooth to get my pics from my camera to my iPhone, but it needs a cord to do so. What cord/USB should I get for this?

- Answer I use SnapBridge to connect my camera to my phone. It’s easy to use, just pick the photo/s you want to download and it will automatically save in your photo library. Make sure you phone’s bluetooth is open to connect to the camera. As for laptop, I use MacBook Air 13” and I just insert the card from the card reader on the side. Hope this helps.

- Answer The D3400 supports SD, SDHC, and SDXC standard (not micro) SD type cards. Cards with a UHS speed class of 6 or higher are recommended for movie recording; using slower cards may result in recording being interrupted. The highest capacity cards supported are 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB SDXC cards by SanDisk. Also supported are 128GB Toshiba, Lexar Multi-Use, Lexar Platinum II, and Sony SF-M series SDXC cards. Please contact Nikon Support for a full list of cards tested and approved for use in the D3400.

QuestionI had a Nikon a few years ago with a feature called D-lighting. It was GREAT for interior shots that had a shot of light from a window; it evened out the variations in dark and light very well. Does this camera have that? Or what models do?

- Answer Yes to both questions. Use the automatic settings then experiment with the easy guided ones before venturing into manual if you choose to go down that road . It is a well made easy to use camera that should last a long time.
