• A:Answer It sounds like your camera is in Auto Mode, which defaults the viewfinder to show you where all your autofocus points are. To change this you can use the monitor when focusing, which gives you a single autofocus box which can be moved using the selector button. Another option is to change your mode to M, A, S or P, which will let you control the point of focus with the selector button, whether you're using either the viewfinder or the monitor. • A:Answer The Nikon D5600 cannot take photos during video recording. However, the D5600 does allow you to save a copy of a selected frame as a JPEG still. To do this, you must first pause the movie on the desired frame. Then, press the “i” button and highlight Save selected frame, then press the right multi selector button. Press the top multi selector button to create a still copy of the current frame. For more help saving stills from your recordings, please contact Nikon Support.

Q: QuestionI've got an older Nikon D50, that I've been using since I purchased it. I am wondering if, I was to purchase the D5600, can I use the 55 to 200 lens on the camera. I use the 55 to 200 lens for, almost, everything. I, also, have an older 18 to 55mm lens.

As long as you're using lenses that are designated as those types than you'll have no trouble using them with the D5600. AF and AI-type lenses can also be used but will have some limitation.
