It allows Fx mount lenses to autofocus. Dx mount lenses work, but have to be focused manually.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.haven't tried this but Nikon lists compatible lenses and it looks like most every dx lens works. i've used 18-300 with no problems
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Works perfectly with 24-70 2.8,200-500 5.6, and 28-300 fx lenses. Don't see any reason why your lens would behave differently.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can check at nikonusa.com what type of lens are compatible with the Z6 and z7
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes! The Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR lens is listed as compatible with the FTZ Mount Adapter. Fully compatible lens types for the FTZ are AF-S Type G, E, and D; AF-P Type G and E; and AF-I Type D.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes AF-S type g/d/e are all controlled by the camera with the FTZ mount. Others are limited by either lack of Autofocus control and/or metering. For full details google “Nikon and manual” and select compatible lenses.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The FTZ will acomodate any lens with nikon F mount and automate with all AF-S lenses.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Don, I just used the adapter over the weekend to attach my AF-S VR NIKKOR 70-200mm 1:2.8G to my Nikon Z6 and I worked! Picture quality is the same as it would be in my Nikon D500. Hope this helps! Cheers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had a Nikon D5500 and the lenses moved to the Z7 without an issue with the FTZ adaptor. Remember, Best Buy has a great return policy and I have never had an issue with returns either.
