    • Answer No, the Nikon ML-L3 Wireless Remote Control is not compatible with the Nikon COOLPIX L840 digital camera. The Nikon ML-L3 only works with select Nikon D-SLR, Nikon 1 and COOLPIX A and P-series cameras. There are no compatible shutter remotes available for the Nikon COOLPIX L840.

Nikon’s Wireless Mobile Utility (WMU) App can also be used as a remote trigger for the D5500 . The WMU app can be installed on compatible iOS and Android Smart Devices.     • Answer The ML-L3 Wireless Remote Control will not adjust focus when the Nikon D750 is set to AF-C and being shot through the viewfinder. However, when it is set to AF-A or AF-S, or when autofocus is enabled in Live View, the ML-L3 will adjust the focus. The ML-L3 cannot be used to start or stop recording video.

Instead, use either the Nikon UT-1 Communication Unit with WT-5A Wireless Transmitter combination or the WT-4A Wireless Transmitter. The UT-1 Communication Unit with WT-5A Wireless Transmitter combination will allow you to either transmit images and movies to a host (computer or FTP server) from the camera or transfer images to a computer from the camera directly, while the Nikon WT-4A Wireless Transmitter allows WiFi remote operation (with optional Camera Control 2 software) and image transfer (with FTP software) or wired Ethernet connection.
