• A:Answer This is a great flash with a small footprint but will not work with the Nikon J5. It needs a camera with a Hot shoe and the Nikon J5 does not have one. See the photo of the hot shoe conector that the camera needs to have.

• A:Answer The compact, lightweight SB-300 AF Speedlight , when used as a single flash option, offers i-TTL and manual options. However, there are some limitations of use with the Nikon D3300. For instance, wireless flash control is not available with the Nikon SB-300 when using it with the Nikon D3300. AF-assist for multi-area AF and Red-eye reduction are also not available when using this camera and lens combination. To learn more about flash unit compatibility, please contact Nikon Support.
