I had the same thing happen to me the first time I removed it. It seemed to be stuck and I was worried about breaking it. Just pull really hard straight up and it will come free. Once you get it out the first time, it fits back in easy and will be easy to remove in the future. Not sure why first time removal is so hard, but I experienced the same thing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Really sore on the finger tips, threaded a dish cloth through the handle after putting in hot water for a few minutes, grabbed both ends and, finally, it came loose.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's stuck because of the silicone pads at the corners. They're squashed quite hard into the bottom of the drawer. The pads are soft, and the plate will come out - slowly - if you pull hard on the raised centre handle and jiggle it slightly. Pulling on it hard won't break anything. It's not as easy or obvious as it could be and took a fair amount of physical strength and a couple of attempts. Also, the edges of the handle press hard into your fingers. They're not sharp and I didn't have cuts, but you may want to protect your fingers with silicone gloves, a silicone sheet, or a tea towel.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Run hot water into the pan. Use kitchen silicon tongs to grasp the handle in the center of the crisper tray. The tray will pull up and out easily. The hot water warms the small silicon pads on the side of the tray and make the tray come out easily with the silicon tongs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is so hard to remove. I am considering returning it because it is too hard.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same issue but after the first time it never happened again. They may have done that for shipping so it wouldn't come loose in the shipping process, don't know this for sure just a guess. :)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’d added warm water and move the pan around.. it should pup out! Or slightly tap the container holding the handle...should come out!!
