I bought this as a birthday gift for my wife after her food processor bit the dust. I was decided on the TN 801, but my wife (who performs delicious works of art in the kitchen) preferred this one because of the higher powered motor and the feeder for the processor. I got her this on, on sale, and bought a couple of extra blending cups and lids separately for $25 on Amazon. She's thrilled with all of it! Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I recommend the Ninja TB401 (this model) over any other product Ninja makes. I can’t yet give you informed performance feedback since mine’s on order as of Cyber Monday. But for one thing this is the latest top end model with the latest and coolest features. It’s very close to “insert ingredients then push a button to start relevant program then forget (until it turns itself off” (assuming it works as advertised). It’s as close to what you would call an “artificial intelligence blender” as anything I’ve seen - yet as an AI researcher myself, I’m glad Ninja doesn’t use the latter in it’s naming scheme, but rathet does its usual thing of inventing new cool-and-descriptive new adjectives and nouns to describe its new probuct. Furthermore, I suspect it does almost as flawless blending/smoothie job as a Vitamix for less than half the price, plus it’s more automatic than Vitamix. I had intended to buy a top-end Foodi variant of a Ninja - a heck of a deal, $230 list on Black Friday sale for $100 at another vendor - and was initially disappointed when the deal disappeared or sold out or something. But lacking that option, I decided to go to Best Buy and do an exhaustive search over all models. Glad I did ad I found this new model. If it performs as advertized, then this as probably the blender/processor system to beat among all available models from all vendors.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.i would say this versin because once your over 1600 watts amd under 2800 watts there is no noticeable difference, maybe if you looked under a microscope at the fibers rendered but nothing is going to be better in terms of consistency.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I highly recommend the 401 over the 801 mainly for the digital display. The convenience of the messages and digital countdown was with the extra $30 or so.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Although I don’t know about other blenders I believe this works perfectly and just fine for its needs and it is a plus that it guve you the options of using it to blend, for food processing, and as well as the small cup where i can use it for the milkshakes protein shakes
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't believe that a model TN801 is produced. If you meant BN801 I think either would produce similar results in regards to blending and food processing functionality.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The detect is smart enough to know what you're blending and just does it. It also has 400 more watts than the 801. The 801 has an additional 24oz cup but you can get that separately.
