• It depends on the cup size. You can only get 6 cups of coffee if the mug is 10 oz but you wouldn't get 12 cups even if you used the 6 oz cups that come with a plate set. I never got 12 cups out of my Mr. Coffee and it said 12 cups on the pot. It only brews 47 oz of coffee and the rest is good for that extra cup or person who wants something different.
