We would like to inform you that this model does not have a splatter shield. Shortly after product launch, it was determined that the splatter guard had no effect on performance (either in terms of cooking or smoke) and was therefore removed from the design. The artwork on the box was updated accordingly to remove the splatter guard as well.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you are referring to the ninja foodi xl pro air oven model DT200- Series LP3, the answer is no . There is no splatter shield. Actually there is no splatter shields with any model of ninja fryers. The oven is very easy to clean but other air fryer models are a little harder to clean. The only items that come with this model is 2 sheet pans, 1 air fry basket, 2 wire racks, roast tray and a crumb tray, The crumb tray is placed below bottom heating element of oven and it catches all crumbs. You pull it out and wipe off. I have only air fried frozen popcorn shrimp in air fry basket which is put at top of oven to bake , a whole roasted a 5 lb. pre cooked ham and also used rewarm to warm up at a later date, and bake to bake cans of pillsbury grand biscuits. I saw no splatter with these items. It could be possible there will be grease splatters with things such as bacon or other greasy things, but I don't know yet, as I haven't cooked those things. So far have just took a wet paper towel and wiped out the inside and front of fan. and it is easy to do and clean. I have also used clorox wipes to wipe inside and out. They cause streaking on outside so I think it's better to use water or dish soap on a sponge or paper towel or cloth. I have found it's ok to put pans in dish washer as I have 2 other ninja air fryers and I put all those pans and racks in dish washer. They do have minor water spots that can be wiped out with wet paper towel. I do recommend this larger oven model.
