• yes thats what it is,, but since you are cooking it in the air fryer. It air broil.

• The heating element on the top of the area superheats similar to how your oven or toaster oven will broil. The default temperature of the broiler is 450 and the timer is set to 10 minutes which you can adjust down. The heat only hits the food on the top so it is more similar to how the toaster over would broil since there is no actual flame like the broiler in your oven.
