We are sorry to hear of this experience and would like to provide you with some steps for eliminating the appearance of smoke. If cooking greasy foods, like chicken wings/chicken thighs, etc. and the sheet pan is not below the crisp basket there will be smoke. If you are using marinade ensure that you are applying it half-way through the cooking cycle, because it will result in smoking/burning of the marinade. Cook any fatty foods at 375 or lower temp. Be sure no food is directly contacting the top heating elements or the top of the cooking cavity. Ensure that you are cleaning your unit regularly so that grease does not build up inside. If you are still experiencing difficulty please share your contact information and a brief description of the issue with us at [email protected].
