The only difference is that the FD402 includes a 50 page cookbook and the FD401 has a 45 page one. The only other difference is where they are available. The FD402 can be bought at Bestbuy, Bed Bath & Beyond, Kohl’s, etc. The FD401 can be bought at Macy’s, JCPenney, HSN, etc.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m confused. I saw that Ninja answered and said the only difference is the mitts. However, I see that the 401 has a reheat option, and the 402 does not. I also see that the 401 puts slow cook and yogurt in the same button/option, where as in the 402, it has separate buttons/options for them. Am I looking at something wrong? Im frustrated because I bought the 402 one, and I received the 401.
